You can directly offset your personal carbon footprint, or just one activity, by planting trees. Your investment in planting trees at Instituto Terra will yield a host of benefits beyond carbon consumption including restoration of biodiversity, habitat and species recovery, watershed protection, economic stability, and local employment. Money is also needed to develop the education programs, which are vital in preparing the local community to participate in reforestation projects with a goal of sustainable ecological development.
